The 163rd Episode : Overflowing water
[September, 1999 Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago]
Our job went mostly well as scheduled and the travelling day came. My colleague went back to the U.S. by another flight in the early in the morning. Peter took us each to the airport separately, i.e. he went to the airport twice as well as we arrived. Thank you!
Before I left the room, I flushed water at the bathroom. Whaaat!?!? The water wouldn’t stop and kept on running, and drainage was so slow. What the hell was going!? The water level in the toilet bowl was slightly getting higher and higher as time went by. Fortunately nothing was inside other than water but I was in hurry. I put towels and bathrobes… on the floor at the door of the bathroom, and dashed to the room telephone!
“The water doesn’t stop and flooding at the bathroom. It will soon come into the room.” I told so the clerk over the phone. Then he answered “I will send somebody soon, so please wait.” However nobody came after a while.
The towels were still holding their ground but it would be only a matter of time before they run out of steam. The time to departure was ticking away. Peter would also come soon. No time to wait. I didn’t care now ‘cause I would leave this room.
I got down to the front desk with my baggage to check out. I told the clerk again about the water at my room to have got his answer ‘will check it later’.
How come could they be so laid back!?!?
How was the room since then …!? No way of knowing with me.
