The 136th Episode : Favourable to Japan?

Caracas, Venezuela

[June, 1998 Caraca, Venezuela]

While I looked around the city, I dropped at a game centre.  There were many game machines on the site and many young people were playing with them like Japan.  There were people living in the mountains using electricity without authorisation, on the other hand here were people playing with games.  They must be rich, I supposed.

I was walking in the game centre thinking about that, when I found one machine with a familiar paintings.  It was “Goku of Dragon Ball”, Japanese comic.  They say it is very popular and many goods like keychains were sold with the paintings.  The game machines seemed to be used ones imported from Japan.  No Spanish was written but only Japanese.  The coin insertion slot remained to show ¥100.  People seemed to know how much was to be inserted in the local coins.  I am not interested in such games, I don’t remember what type of game it was.

Speaking of that, I heard Japanese TV programmes were exported to Venezuela and on broadcast.  Long time ago, when I was 5-6 years old in around 1964, a drama of Ninja for kinds was on air.  It was also on air in Venezuela about 5 years later.  We had a staff from Venezuela in our company.  The guy was about 5 years younger than me, who said to have watched the drama at around the same age, 5-6 years old.  I don’t remember the title in Venezuela but the contents, costume… were quite same.  Must be the same one.

Are they surprisingly favourable to Japan?
