The 165th Episode : Dallas, Texas

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport

[September, 1999 Dallas, Texas]

Arrived at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport without any troubles.  Some troubles happened at some places in the Latin America.  I’d returned to the U.S., where I could be relieved.  The U.S., however, is the gun society so it’s better to be vigilant.  Dallas does remind me of the murder of the president John F. Kennedy being killed by the bullets in November, 1963.

I would spend time only at the hotel and its round trip for that by a shuttle bus.  Then, I didn’t know well how to use this shuttle bus, if I needed to give a tip to the driver or not.  Basically no tip is needed, so I didn’t give on the way to the hotel.  But on the next day I asked it to the hotel staff to make it sure.  The answer “no” was returned as I expected.  Not necessary.

Dallas Fort Worth International Airport is a very large airport, of which terminal buildings are away for each air company.  If we got off the bus at the wrong building, it would be terrible.  The shuttle bus stopped in order, when I saw people get off paying tips.  Wmm?  I heard no need it!?!?  As the local people were used to pay tips, was it normal?

Even if I hadn’t pay it, they wouldn’t mind as I was a foreigner!?  Do I pay?  Or not?  The terminal building I’d get off was approaching.  Self-questioning.

I paid after all, although I don’t remember the amount.  Oh, I was a pretender in so cool.
